Finca Las Marias in Rio Frio, Santa Barbara produces some of the finest Honduran coffees. Las Marias coffee was one of the winners in the 1st Honduran Q Auction from the Coffee Quality Institute in 2005. The farm is owned and operated by Don Jose Virgilio Enamorado and his three-generation family of coffee growers. Don “Chepe”, as Mr. Enamorado is affectionately known, and his farms have always been exemplary, serving as models for other Honduran coffee growers. The farm grows coffees at minimum 1150 and maximum 1560 meters above sea level.
